LINCOLN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE REPORT WEEK ENDING AUGUST 10
Last Week, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 76 traffic stops and 35 security checks. There were five calls involving cars hitting deer, one call where a car struck a bear, and one report of a car hitting a dog.
On Wednesday August 6 a call was received regarding a motorcycle crash with injuries on CTH B near Seven Island Lake Rd in the Town of Harrison. In speaking with the 18 yr-old male driver from Weston, he shared that while traveling W/B on CTH B he veered off the road into the ditch and hit a rock. A witness who was traveling behind his vehicle stated that it appeared as though he had become fixated on a target and drove into the ditch. He was transported to Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital by Tomahawk EMS for treatment of his injuries.
